The deal is part of the divestment project in the cookware business started by Bialetti in 2022.
Bialetti is leading player in Italy and among the main operators in international markets in the production and distribution of Houseware products. In particular, the Bialetti brand is focused on coffee preparation products such as traditional coffee makers, electric coffee makers and electric espresso coffee machines and it also offers a line of coffee capsules.
The divestment of the Aeternum brand will further enable the Group to focus on its strategic and business priorities: consolidating Bialetti as a relevant brand in the coffee world and sustaining a strong push to internationalize the brand.
Founded in Langhirano close to Parma in 1946, I.L.L.A. is active in the production of cookware products such as pots, pans and casseroles in aluminum with non-stick coating.
The acquisition of Aeternum is in line with ILLA's relaunch path.
The integration of the well-known and strategic brand Aeternum will enable ILLA to increase its market share.
