The Materna Group has acquired 100 percent of the Munich-based software company Virtual Solution AG with effect from February 15, 2022. Virtual Solution AG employs around 90 people and develops software for a secure ultra-mobile working environment on smart devices for the iOS and Android operating systems. Virtual Solution's customer base includes hundreds of federal, state and local authorities, BOS and KRITIS companies that use BSI-approved solutions to communicate and work via ultra-mobile devices up to the level of secrecy in compliance with DSGVO. It is the only cross-platform solution of its kind to date. With the purchase and further development of Virtual Solution's software products, Materna is further expanding its already leading position as a solution provider for public administration.
