The deal represents an exit for QCapital, that invested in Venpa in 2021.
Venpa is an Italian group founded in 1981 and based in Dolo (Venice), the company is active in the rental and sale of aerial platforms and earthmoving equipment. With a fleet of more than 6,000 vehicles including aerial platforms, earthmoving machines, crane trucks, and a staff of more than 450 employees, Venpa is a key player in the Italian vehicle rental sector.
In recent years, Venpa has grown from approximately Euro 40 million in revenues and Euro 14 million in EBITDA to approximately Euro 100 million in revenues and Euro 40 million in EBITDA 2024 expected.
With this investment, Sagard aims to exploit further growth opportunities both internally and through acquisitions.
