Founded by businessman Luiz Eduardo Rico, Ricolog also counts as a partner to the GB2 Group (AGRO 100), one of the largest agribusiness companies in Paraná. With the transaction, Sotran's entry into the company adds expertise in agribusiness logistics and boosts investments in Ricolog's infrastructure.

Headquartered in Cambé, northern Paraná, the Sotran Group is over 30 years old and currently has 19 branches located in the South, Southeast and Midwest, the main regions of agricultural production. The company operates more than 1,200 shipments per day for multinationals, trading companies, cooperatives and producers.

Located in Rolândia-PR and strategically positioned on ALL's railway network, Ricolog has the capacity to handle the volume of 1.5 million tons of grain and sugar transship and with an extension of the railway maneuver line that allows the movement and maneuvering of 240 wagons.

In 2016, Ricolog will have  large infrastructure for receiving and storing fertilizers, increasing the efficiency of the rail flow between the north of Paraná and the ports of Paranaguá – PR , São Francisco-SC and Rio Grande do Sul.
